Internships
Internships are a form of volunteer or minimally compensated work that involves educational gain; AIGA also strongly encourages studios to pay interns. To be eligible for posting on this site, internships should provide a structured educational experience in return for the commitment of designers’ time.
To determine whether or not your internship meets the legal requirements, read the AIGA article “Be Smart about Student Internships.”
Pro bono projects
Pro bono projects are volunteer work done “for the public good.” To be eligible for posting on this site, pro bono projects should clearly demonstrate how the outcome will benefit a social cause or the work of a nonprofit organization.
AIGA’s position
